today we were fortunate enough to have been featured on Breakfast Television! April, Kevin, Mohit, Dina and truly all the staff (including security) were amazing.
The show was about Recycling Wedding Dresses.
Lindsay and her designer at The Green Gown worked tirelessly on a retro 80's gown & revamped it into a modern day trendy masterpiece! Every thing including the very unique blusher veil was made by using the original dress.
They literally did this in less than a week and we couldn't be prouder to have them as one of our vendors.
The second transformed gown came from wonderful Ashley and her designer from She's so beautiful who not only made a party/flower/confirmation dress w/hairband, she also made a ring pillow, handkerchief, blusher veil and a stunning clutch purse out of a 10 year old dress. All in 4 days!
These ladies truly are amazing and you should all keep their names handy for future wedding dress transformations or consignments you may need. Director of New Beginnings, Denise Whitter, was the spokesperson on BT for the Wedding Bliss Fundraiser and discussed that the charity has helped over 150 women in it's 7 years. Special thank you to Orly Kahn, Hayley, Kathleen and Isabelle for Hair and Makeup, Jessica from Ritche, Jennifer Borgh and the amazing models Tara Elizabeth, Karina, Kiera, Alex, as well as Denise and Tegan from Emerald Model Management.
